Its sweet notes stand out: caramel, chocolate and malty notes in the caramelisation group; it is a chocolaty coffee, with body and medium acidity.


Finca el Raudal was founded in 1950 and since then managed by the family women, firstly Doña Ángela and later her daughter Doña Amalia. El Raudal picks the best lots and seeds to attain a high quality cup in an environmentally sustainable way. The farm has 13 hectares, 10 of which are coffee crops and the remaining 3 are conservation areas.
The farm maintains an equilibrium of large trees that provide shade and host animal biodiversity.
In the beginning, the farm was planted with Robusta coffee, afterwards the Arabica variety Caturra was planted and more recently the Obatá variety.
The northern side of the farm borders the Mancarrón river and this area is kept with vegetation and trees in order to protect the river bank.
